Meet Carrie
Carrie Rheingans has deep roots in Michigan. She grew up in a rural town in Michigan, and her great-grandfather was the minister at the Brooklyn Presbyterian Church in Jackson County about a hundred years ago. Carrie earned three degrees (B.S., M.P.H., and M.S.W.) from the University of Michigan, and now lives in western Ann Arbor with her husband and 7-year old daughter.
Carrie is active in the community. She served on the Washtenaw County Board of Health, Washtenaw Emergency Medical Services Commission, was vice-chair of programming for the Ann Arbor Democratic Club and was a member of the American Federation of Teachers Local 6244 (University of Michigan Lecturers' Employee Organization).
