Voting at Home
Any registered voter in Michigan may apply for an absent voter (or absentee) ballot. You can vote by absentee ballot through the mail, without leaving your home or paying for postage.
1. Request Your Absentee Ballot
You can request your ballot online, by calling your clerk, or by downloading an application and returning it by mail or in person by 5:00 p.m. on November 1. Within two weeks of election day, we recommend making your request in person at your local city or township clerk's office to avoid possible postal delays.
